PowerPDU 4KS

PowerPDU 4KS is a smart PDU (Power Distribution Unit) with 4 metered & switched power outputs (4x IEC-320 C13) and 1x DI (Digital Input).

The PowerPDU 4KS PDU (Power Distribution Unit) measures power consumption (A, kWh, TPF, W, V, Hz) and switching On/Off each power output individually. PDU supports local Ping & Power WatchDog and Scheduler functions.
Each output can be switched manually over the web, the NETIO Cloud service, or with a Mobile App (Locally or via NETIO Cloud).
The DI (Digital Input) can control the outputs or count S0 pulses (ext. power metering).
PDU supports Open API for 3rd party integration (http JSON, Modbus/TCP, SNMP, MQTT-flex, Telnet, …).
With the NETIO Cloud service, the outputs can be controlled from anywhere. The NETIO Cloud is a paid service with welcome credit for newly connected devices. It’s SSL secured cloud solution, servers are located in Europe.
AV drivers make it easy to connect NETIO sockets to professional Audio/Video control systems such as Neets, Crestron, Control4 etc.

For Open API communication, one of the following M2M protocols can be active at a time:

  • HTTP(s) Push JSON

The SNMP protocol can always be used in parallel to other APIs.

Regardless of which Open API protocol is being used, the PowerPDU 4KS can always be controlled from its web interface and from the NETIO Cloud service at the same time.

Professional product

A smart PDU with LAN connectivity, PowerPDU 4KS is designed for professional use.

  • Wide operating temperature range from -20°C to +65°C
  • PowerUp state – the state of the outputs after the device is powered up is configurable (On/Off/Last)
  • PowerUp sequence – outputs are switched on with defined timing
  • Simple installation into a 10” or 19” cabinet as a 1U device or vertically at a side
  • ZCS (Zero Current Switching) – the relay is switched when the current crosses zero. This allows switching devices with a high inrush current.
